Terry's Design & Photography began its journey in publishing in 1995. Working for publishers such as CTB/McGraw-Hill, Wadsworth Publishing, Brooks-Cole Publishing, Jones & Bartlett Learning, and many more. Roles within the publishing community included Photo Researcher, Copyright and Permissions Editor, Photo Editor and Photographer. My first book that was published in 1998 was by Ed Neukrug, The World of the Counselor (1st ed), with hundreds more that followed.
As I continued my life's journey, I also worked as the Director of Photography for Top Quark Productions and The Photographer's Window. We continued working with publishing agencies and began working on a documentary. Exciting times! My experience includes designing ads, creating dummies, or designing a website for magazines and newspapers - creating a newspaper, and then moving into the world of education.
The past 14 years includes teaching undergraduate and graduate studies for online universities such as the Art Institute, the International Academy of Design & Technology, Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, and Sanford Brown College. Not only did I teach for these entities, I also designed curriculum for some of the online universities.
Most recently, I have been contracted through Cohesion and nSight to design curriculum and have successfully designed curriculum for universities such as Indiana Wesleyan University, North Central University, The Institutes, and for Pearson Publishing. I was also Instructional Designer (ID) for Six Red Marbles for courses such as; Cancer Genomics, Managerial Epidemiology, Data Management, and Ethical and Legal Studies.
Along with curriculum design or instructional design, I also moderate for NASA for the courses showing under my resume tab.
My education includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication, Masters of Business degree in Marketing, Post-Master's College Teaching Certificate, and a Ph.D. in Education/Philosophy.
